Phil Parkinson checks out possible Bradford City loan target
2:05pm Monday 8th October 2012 in Bantams
By Simon Parker, Bradford City Reporter
Phil Parkinson intends watching a possible target in action
Phil Parkinson will cast an eye on a possible recruit later today as he considers City's first loan move of the season.
The City chief will not reveal the identity of the player but intends to watch them in action. It is thought he is trailing a winger to cover Kyel Reid's absence.
Parkinson said: "He's a player I like and I'm going to check his fitness out.
"It's a possiblity but it's got to be somebody who is ready to come in and make an impact.
"We're reasonably happy with our lot but we always want to improve as well. If that means bringing somebody in, then so be it.
"If it doesn't, we'll go with what we've got and people will continue to get chances."

All pre season we have been looking at various options but signed people who will not cut it at this level!!!!!!!
Thompson should be given a chance on the wing, with Connell just behind the front 2.
Also we need a creative midfielder and not play 2 defensive midfielders.
Play Darby at left back and let them cross the half way line now and again.
Get players in the box to support the front 2, best form of defence is attack!!!!!!!!!!

Robbie Brady from Man Utd would be a good shout

Spoke to Adam Baker on Twitter, and he tells me that he is travelling with the squad tomorrow. It's only a worthless tinpot trophy game and why risk more injuries to the 1st team? I say give Baker a run out in this game and give Hanson & Wells a rest. The league is more important than this thing and more injuries could just make things worse. I don't know how many changes Parky can make but he could play a few of the young lads and give them the experience amongst the seniors and that would give them confidence. If we lose the game, then so be it. Promotion is our main target and also top priority and it should always remain so.
An honourable defeat would be ideal IMO but as I'm going; a 5-0 win would also be wonderful...

We knew this last season that we have no replacement for certain players, have we done owt about it have we chuff!!!!!! You want to play three up front and a right back as an attacking left back and you think PP should listen to you?
We have had two genuinely poor performances in two months of football and you are whining. Unbelievable.

The lads you have criticised have performed better than Hanson this season.
