STUART McCall is relishing the chance to put the record straight against Swindon tomorrow.

City will be looking for three more points at Valley Parade to bolster their promotion push.

They are also keen to make amends against one of only five teams who have beaten them in League One.

Struggling Swindon are in the thick of a relegation fight but edged the fifth-placed Bantams 1-0 at the County Ground in November.

McCall has watched the highlights of that game again this week and admits the result still rankles.

He said: "They scored a good free-kick and we missed some big chances. It was a game we should have taken more from and it's our fault that we didn't.

"We weren't unlucky. We created a lot of good chances and just failed to take them.

"Swindon are battling desperately at the bottom. Away from home recently, they scored three at Coventry and two at Port Vale.

"We know they get goals but we'll focus on ourselves and putting in another good performance.

"The bottom line is the result as we tick the games off. We've still got 24 points to play for.

"As we've been saying the past few months, we want to finish as strong as we can and make it a successful end to the season."

The midweek draw at Charlton stretched City's unbeaten run to six games, although they were the only team in the top five not to win.

The Bantams were under the cosh after the break but hung on for the point.

McCall said: "Looking back in the cold light of day, I was probably a bit harsh on the players afterwards through disappointment.

"Charlton were at the top of their game second half and the crowd lifted them. It wasn't anything tactically, they just upped it, won all the second balls and stopped us playing.

"In the end, it was a hard-earned point on one of the few occasions we've played against a team who were better than us, in the second half anyway.

"That's the first time we've been pleased to hear the final whistle. We've not been in that situation before."

McCall anticipates noisy backing from the Valley Parade faithful after heaping praise on the away support who made their presence felt at the Valley.

"The support the other night was incredible and we know we'll get that again this weekend," he said.

"We didn't have a great deal on the bench to make changes. It would be nice if we could get Nicky Law or Alex Jones back to give us a few more options.

"We've had a good couple of days of recovery and we're all looking forward to it."
