PHIL Parkinson today reminded City to "look at the big picture" as they prepare for Saturday's showdown with Walsall.

One point from two away games this week has left the fifth-placed Bantams with a two-point cushion in the play-offs with three to play.

But Parkinson said: "There are games in the season when you come away feeling disappointed either with the performance or the result but you’ve got to be ready to dust yourself down.

"Look at the bigger picture and we are still in a very good position in the league – a position that a lot of teams would love to swap for. We’ve got to capitalise on that."

City are checking on Reece Burke who took a kick on the calf in the Coventry defeat. Jamie Proctor's stiff back is also being monitored.

But Wes Thomas, who has not featured since the loss to Wigan, is unlikely to come back into consideration for the suspended Steve Davies.

The on-loan Birmingham striker has been laid low by a virus and has not been able to train this week.
