COVENTRY boss Tony Mowbray wants his side to sign off their up-and-down campaign on a high.

The Sky Blues have tailed off dramatically after topping the League One table at the end of November.

Saturday's win over ten-man Millwall was only their second in the last nine games to leave them eight points adrift of the play-offs – but Mowbray hopes his team can go out with a bang.

He said: "I don't look at league tables. I just look after ourselves and see where we finish, so let's see if we can win the next four games.

"I told the players that supporters need to know we're still fighting for every point – particularly the loan players have to show that they care about this club; care about playing in a sky blue shirt.

"I feel for everyone at the club at how things have fallen away but I was pleased with the way the lads responded and turned things round against Millwall.

"They have to maintain that level. There's no team we fear, so we have to try to impose ourselves on Bradford."

Exciting teenage winger Jodi Jones is expected to return after a stomach bug as Coventry target their first win over the Bantams since 2001.

Mowbray said: "Bradford are a big, hard-working and resilient side, so we know what to expect.

"They've got strengths and good players. It took them time to get going but they almost got five 1-0 wins on the bounce at the weekend."

Coventry's demise has coincided with Adam Armstrong's goals drying up. The on-loan Newcastle striker was the division's top scorer going into the turn of the year but has been stuck on 19 for the last nine games. He last netted on February 13.

The midlanders have struggled to maintain their previously free-scoring approach without Armstrong's input.

Mowbray admitted: "We have been looking for the answers to our inability to stick the ball into the opposition net, despite dominating some of those games.

"I think (Saturday) was only the third time in the last 20-odd games that we've scored two goals in a game. In the first 20 games, we did that 12 times."
