KYEL Reid is doubtful for City's home clash with Barnsley tomorrow with a knee problem.

But James Hanson is set to return to the squad after missing the last two games.

Reid sat out training today and is due to see specialist Steve Bollen this afternoon.

Phil Parkinson said: "It's his cruciate knee but it's not a major problem. It's just flared up a little bit over the last week or so.

"(Physio) Matt Barrass thinks it might be training on the artificial turf that has irritated it.

"We'll see what Steve says but we might have to manage Reidy through this period to get it right."

But there is better news on Hanson after his thigh injury.

Parkinson added: "James is fit and available for selection."

Meanwhile, Luke James remains at City until his future can be resolved.

The on-loan Peterborough striker, who was on the bench on Saturday, is wanted by former side Hartlepool and another League Two club.

Parkinson said: "Luke is still here at the moment. One or two clubs been trying to do a deal between ourselves and Peterborough but it hasn’t quite fallen into place yet."
