STRIKER Devante Cole has left Bradford City.
The 20-year-old joined Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee this lunchtime. Jamie Proctor has gone the other way on a month's loan.
Phil Parkinson said: "We wanted to freshen things up and we got a very good financial offer from Fleetwood.
"It puts some money back available to us and we felt that if we didn't take it, that money might not be there in two days' time.
"Purely for football reasons, we decided it was the right thing to do."
Cole was unveiled as a Fleetwood player this afternoon and said: "I am buzzing to be here. I have had a good look around the place and I can’t wait to get started."
Proctor, 23, will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's trip to Port Vale as James Hanson recovers from his calf injury.
Peterborough loanee Luke James could also be off with two League 2 clubs interested in taking him.
Meanwhile, Alan Sheehan's loan to Luton Town has also been sealed.
