JOSH Morris is out of City’s Yorkshire derby with Sheffield United because of a knee injury.
The left-sided midfielder, who has just regained his place in the side, is set to be sidelined for up to a month after suffering the problem against Fleetwood.
Phil Parkinson said: “Josh went in for a tackle in the last couple of minutes on Saturday and opened his medial ligament a little bit.
“He carried on, so he’s not that bad, but it swelled up overnight. He went to see the specialist and looks like being out for three to four weeks.
“He’s a good player and I’m really pleased with Josh. But you get these setbacks and it gives an opportunity for somebody else.
“We keep saying we’ve got a good squad. One player like Billy Clarke went out, now Josh, and there’s an opening for someone to stake a place in the team.”
Meanwhile, Reece Burke’s youth loan from West Ham is in the process of being extended by a further month.
