IT'S really good to see the FA Cup draw has been made a big event again.

I remember as a kid at Coventry coming in from training on a Monday lunchtime and all the players crowding round the transistor radio in the boot room.

They lost all that when the draw started being done whenever and even in between games.

So it's great that the tradition has been restored by bringing it back on a set day and time. You've got that excitement back.

I bet every Bradford City player was sitting at home watching their TV when the last draw was on. That will be the same with teams all over the country.

You can't look too far ahead and City have got to focus on getting Dartford out of the way now.

But the chance of making the third round should be a big carrot for everyone.

That's the draw you want to be in and the possibility of getting drawn with one of the big boys.

City have had a taste with the League Cup two seasons ago and it would be great if they could land one of those again.

There's also the financial side of it and the chance to make big dough. The spin-off from the League Cup run married up with getting promotion.

We all know that City have got their financial limits, like any club, and the further they go in the competition, then every little bit helps.
