A film marking Bradford City’s Wembley triumph from the perspective of the fans will be shown on a big screen at the National Media Museum.

Lifelong Bantams fan David Nowakowski asked fans to send him footage of their pilgrimage to the League Two play-off final victory against Northampton in May and he is now preparing to unveil the finished product, We Made History.

The 13-minute film, which has been supported by Bradford City of Film, was made using some of the 1,000 clips submitted by fans from across the world.

It will be shown three times at the museum’s Pictureville cinema during December as a trailer to a feature film.

Mr Nowakowski, a member of the band Scars on 45, said: “I can’t wait for people to see it. It really captures the mood at the end of a remarkable season.”

Tom Vincent, film programme manager at the museum, added: “The film has a real sense of anticipation which builds as people get ready and travel to Wembley. It’s become more exciting, thrilling and joyous. It is really uplifting.”

The film will be shown before Nebraska at 5.40pm on Friday, December 6, and It’s A Wonderful Life at 11.40am on Saturday, December 21, and 5.05pm on Boxing Day.
