City have drawn a West Yorkshire derby in the Capital One Cup.
Last season's losing finalists will kick off their campaign with a first-round trip to Huddersfield.
They visited the John Smith's Stadium at the same stage of the competition in 2008, when Stuart McCall's team were beaten 4-0.
But City won there on penalties in the JP Trophy under Phil Parkinson in 2011.
Meanwhile, Leeds will be at home to Chesterfield. The matches take place in the week beginning August 5.
