Having struggled to form a side, Bradford won the West Yorkshire Under-13 Girls' Basketball Games.

After the Leeds had fought back to defeat Kirklees 22-20, Bradford comfortably defeated a tiring Kirklees 45-22.

Bradford then played Leeds in the final game of their triangular tournament and overcame spirited resistance to win 39-23.

Bradford comfortably beat Kirklees but crashed to defeat against a strong Leeds team, who won the overall title.

Four Bradford boys and four Bradford girls have been selected for the West Yorkshire teams for the Yorkshire Tournament at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield on Saturday, June 14.
