Woodhouse Grove under-18s go head to head with Bradford Grammar

Local bragging rights will be at stake on Wednesday when Woodhouse Grove host Bradford Grammar School in the third round of the Daily Mail RBS Under-18 Cup.

Grove qualified with a 42-0 home win over Horsforth, while BGS trounced St Aidan’s Church of England High 52-7.

In the Under-15 Cup fourth round, also on Wednesday, Bradford Grammar host Barnard Castle, while Grove are at QEGS Wakefield.

Daily Mail Under-18 Vase third-round ties on Wednesday include: Horsforth v St Aidan’s C of E HS, Rishworth v Crossley Heath.

RESULTS – Under-18 Cup, second round (selected): Leeds GS 53, King James’s Knaresborough 0; Silcoates 29, Harrogate GS 24; Crossley Heath 18, St Peter’s York 25; Manchester GS 67, Rishworth 0; QEGS Wakefield wo Thomas Rotherham College.

Under-15 Cup, third round (selected): Ermysted’s GS 5, Bradford GS 35; Birkdale 0, Queen Elizabeth GS Wakefield 54; GS at Leeds 52, Horsforth 12; Rishworth 10, Crossley Heath 45; Woodhouse Grove 42, Worksop College 12.
