Year Six pupils from St Oswald’s Primary School are the Bradford West Cluster Primary football champions.
St Oswald’s beat Princeville Primary 1-0 in a closely- contested final.
They scored an impressive 23 goals, while conceding just three, in their seven games against five other primary schools.
Farnham Primary showed great determination, fielding the youngest team, which consisted of Year Five pupils. They progressed through the group stages and into the knockout rounds.
Summayya Khan, from Copthorne Primary, was the only girl at the tournament but showcased her talent to help Copthorne to third place against a very strong Horton Grange outfit.
The schools passed on their thanks to organiser James Robinson.
