Harry Widdop hit a hat-trick and Sam Ryan’s silky skills were rewarded with a goal but Wilsden hit a des-erved consolation in the final minute.

Jason Richardson was named supporters’ player of the match for Horsforth and Widdop got the players’ vote.

Westwood won 7-2 at BD3 United with goals from man of the match Jacob Slater (3), Liam Wilkinson (2), Joseph O’Grady and an own goal.

This game was played in good spirit by both teams.

Bradford Lizards under-eights faced Pudsey B on a day you would not take your goldfish for a walk!

Lizards had two shots in the first minute from Matthew Ham and Alex Gibson, which soon had the crowd forgetting about the rain.

On seven minutes, Kaylum Johnson struck a thunderbolt, and Bradford were in control a minute later when Alex Gibson’s own thunderbolt made it 2-0.

Pudsey hit back with a good move that caught Bradford cold but Johnson hit his second on the stroke of half-time.

The rain kept on coming in the second half, Joe Waters netting number four, although Stefan Giangregorio and captain Matthew Ham had shot after shot with no joy.

Bradford lost three players, Waters, Gibson and Haseeb Alam all feeling unwell but not even that could put a dampener on their win, Pudsey being rewarded by a late consolation.

Bradford United Scorpions went behind after two minutes in their clash with Pudsey but were soon ahead thanks to a Thomas Marshall brace.

Ali Arshad netted a third, all this being driven by skipper Frankie Brimacombe’s commitment.

Pudsey made it 3-2 just before half-time but could not find a way past the rock-solid defence of Max Parrott in the second half.

Marshall then claimed his hat-trick, Arshad added his second and Brimacombe got a deserved goal.

At 6-2, Bradford weren’t done, however, and Hamas Khan put a great ball into the box for Bailey Healey to score his first goal for United.

In-form Otley despatched East Bowling Allstars 9-1 but Abbey Hall, Levi Lowe and Adam Mahdi playing superbly for the losers, Jamie Smith also making some excellent saves. Allstars’ goal came from Niall Arm-strong.

Ethan Downey scored a fine opportunist goal and man-of-the-match Owen Khan netted twice.

Charlie Bailey was again strong in midfield and added a great solo effort but Charlie Smith was unlucky not to find the net.

Wanderers then completed the double as their B team won 3-2 against Brighouse D but it took a dramatic last-minute winner from Jack Hewitt-Hill who had a great game in midfield, to do it.

Bailey Clarkson played well in goal before being unleashed in midfield, while Danny Gledhill made some important tackles and kept goal well in the second half. Jarad Muff was determined in defence.

Nathan Aylott scored a fine goal before retreating to help out in defence.

Matthew Brumfitt did well up front and also scored, while man of the match Sam Preston’s reading of the game was instrumental in Wyke’s first win of the season.

Vision Juniors Under-11s had a repeat of last season’s nail-biting cup final, when they pipped Gomersal & Cleckheaton.

Ellis Barraclough, in his new central midfield role, showed his strength and determination to win most of the early aerial battles.

Then Tyron Sagar, who was clipped from behind in the box, picked himself up to put Vision ahead from the penalty spot.

With defenders Alex Grady, Callum Fletcher and Caius Lee proving cool in defence, Vision went 2-0 ahead when Bailey Collington and Adam Norman took a short corner, Norman looping the ball over the Gomersal defenders and keeper into the top corner.

Gomersal swiftly replied after half-time but Vision made it 3-1 from a quick, long goal-kick from Luke Foster.

Norman collected the ball and played a clever pass to Kieran Couslan, who scored.

Gomersal once again fought back, scoring again from a well-worked ball down the wing, but man of the match Dylan Matejak put the game to bed by being quickest to react to a blocked shot.

Westwood Jets were 3-2 behind against Drighlington at half-time but Kieran Walton’s five-star performance in the second half helped them to win 9-3.

He added three goals to the two he scored before the break. James Leedale and Callum Armitage (2) joined him on the scoresheet after the interval.

East Bowling Allstars Under-11s had injured goalkeeper Nathan Goodall to thank for keeping a clean sheet in their 4-0 victory over Gomersal and Cleckheaton.

Nathan Armstrong was brilliant in midfield for Allstars, defenders Kai Hall, Josh Lea, Leon Schofield and Rajan Dhillion also playing well. Goals came from Jordan Hobson (3) and Luke Rollinson.

Vision Under-12s discovered their team spirit in a 6-5 victory at a windy hillside in Honley.

Despite only having ten players available and a stand-in goalkeeper, Vision gave a morale-boosting performance.

For once, Vision were quick out of the blocks, James Dennison flicking in a left-wing cross from Vaughan Williams in their first attack, Dennison’s low drive soon making it 2-0.

Bradley Hawes extended the lead and Jacob Inman added a fourth after Honley had broken their duck.

Rattled by some contentious decisions going against them, Dennison headed a powerful free-kick off the line but Honley netted again before the break to make it 4-2.

However, Vision recovered their composure to score twice – a Ryan Whitfield breakaway and another from Inman.

Honley made their extra man count in the final 20 minutes, scoring three, but Caden Wilkinson’s man of the match display in midfield helped to prevent Honley equalising.

Defenders Adam Helliwell, Adam Akalach, Thomas Gibson and Tarandeep Sheena had good games for Allstars, Ryan Pogson putting them 2-1 before keeper Glenn Cockitt almost saved the spot-kick.
