Albion Sports under-12s became the first team to take points off Nab Wood in Division E of the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League – but were denied an impressive victory at the death.

The leaders, who had won their first six games, were heading for defeat after Sports led 2-0 at half-time.

Albion’s scorers were Bradley Horsman (penalty) and Zakaria Khan, who was set up by Is-Haq Khan.

Nab Wood remain unbeaten however after pulling two goals back, their equaliser coming in the final minute.

Albion are unbeaten themselves having played three games fewer.

Fairbank United crushed Shipley Panthers 14-0 in a one-sided affair at Bingley Road in Division 15C.

Laraib Khan led the way with four goals, while doubles came from Ahsan Naveed, Umar Hasnain and Fezan Akubat. Zeeshan Khan, Aqib Khan, Sohail Rashid and Dimitric Nelson also netted.

Bradford Park Avenue under-14 girls won 3-2 at Pontefract in the West Riding Girls League despite going a goal down. The hosts went ahead following a counter-attack despite a valiant effort from keeper Lucy Jackson.

This proved a wake-up call as Bradford were 3-1 up within ten minutes thanks to goals from Sophie Woodrup (2) and Holly Crossland.

It looked as if girl of the match Alice Philpott had made it four after she lobbed the goalkeeper but the referee blew for offside.

Pontefract got back in the game to trail 3-2 but it was all Avenue after the break.

Callum Marshall and Aidan Mcloughlin were among the goals as Eccleshill Falcons made it three wins out of three in the Keybury League under-ten yellow division with a 3-1 success against a good Shipley Pumas outfit.

Defenders Adam Vento, Peter Brett and man of the match Mark Whitford took the plaudits for Falcons.

Prospect Juniors under-11s were 5-2 winners over Leeds Maccabi in the under-11 blue division .

Dan Woffenden, Ellis Heald-Smith, Jordan Farrell, Liam O’Sullivan and captain Joel Friis were on target for Prospect but keeper Tom Lewis was man of the match.
