It's been a long time coming but Albion Sports Under-11s have finally notched their first win of the season in the Keybury League.

And they did it in style by defeating visitors Scholes 6-2, man of the match Nadeem Khan hitting four, including two before half-time which put them 3-1 ahead.

Other scorers were Tallah Butt and captain Is-Haq Khan, whose goal came just before the final whistle.

Eldwick's strong defensive effort was a key factor in their 2-0 win over Thackley at under-eights.

A fantastic first goal of the season for Henry Moorhouse was followed by a Ben Nicoll strike.

Albion Sports' under-nines paid for missing first-half chances in their 2-1 defeat against Bradford United in the Black Division, hitting the post twice and having efforts well saved by Ewan Pyrah.

Kyle Trennery netted a fine goal for Albion from the edge of the area after Billy Raistrick's volley from Omar Powell's free-kick had given United the lead.

Powell then got the winner in the last five minutes, scoring off the post from a Callum Towriss corner.

Eccleshill United played their best football of the season, despite losing 3-1 at Otley.

Adam Vento got his second man of the match award thanks to some excellent defending and Nathan Henderson Hall netted the consolation goal.

Under-ten Green Division leaders Bradford Park Avenue Titans romped to a 5-0 victory over bottom club Guiseley Yellows.

But for some heroics from Guiseley's goalkeeper, the score would have been far greater.

Man of the match for the Titans was goalkeeper-turned-striker Connor Briscoe.

On target were Bobbie Lea Cowens (2) - one of which was a looping header over the keeper - Connor Rhodes, Liam Tasker and an own goal that rebounded in from a Titan strike.

Albion Sports under-tens continued their impressive form with a 2-1 victory over much-improved Bradford United in a game played in two inches of mud.

Free-scoring midfielder Zain Mushtaq gave Albion an early lead, Krishan Patel levelling after a neat finish inside the box.

Nathaniel Dobson was unlucky not to score on several occasions for Albion, who got the winner with an Adam Hussain shot into the corner.

Defender Aaron Day was man of the match for Albion, United keeper Liam Nicholson getting their award.

BD3 United moved into third place in the Black Division with a 3-1 home win over Eldwick, goals coming from M Armaan, Danyaal Yasin and Naeem Khan.

Bradford Tigers continued their impressive run with a 6-2 home victory over Shipley Panthers which put them third in the Under-11 B Division of the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League.

Panthers' man of the match James Abbott kept the visitors in it with two fine goals, hauling them back to 3-2 down, but Tigers' superior teamwork enabled them to pull away again.

Tigers' goals came from Lucas Clayden (2), livewire Lucas Davey (2), including a pinpoint header, Luke Duckett and a William Gilroy far-post flick but all-action midfielder Jordan Kitching and cool centre back James Townend picked up their man of the match awards.

BD3 United under-12s maintained their fine form with a 1-1 draw against title contenders Idle United.

Idle, with their wingers often a focal point in attack, went ahead with a free-kick just after half-time.

But United dominated the last 20 minutes and got a deserved equaliser from J B Sohaib.

Man of the match for BD3 was full back Sulaman Iqbal.

Eccleshill United's under-13s finished their league campaign with a 3-2 loss at home to Nab Wood.

Jordan Horsfall got both United goals and earned their man of the match award.

Paul Robinson's goal-line clearances for Silsden helped them to victory over Long Lee.

Utilising a slick passing game in windy conditions, Silsden took the lead with a Jack Beetham effort, quickly followed by goals from Billy Davis and Kyle Moulson after corners.

Luke Wilson and Jamie England joined the scorers before Long Lee pulled one back before the interval.

Silsden went into overdrive in the second half, however, to ensure there was no Long Lee comeback.

Moulson, Wilson and England (2) completed their hat-tricks, Sam Conway (2) joined the spree and others came from Wilson and England.

A spirited Long Lee didn't give up and were rewarded with another goal but they struggled to get past a solid Silsden central midfield of Danny Santabarbara and Adam Cooper and the defence of Billy Davis, Harry Sessford and Robinson, very rarely challenging keeper Danny Binns.

Saeed Hussain's brace helped BD3 United's under-14s to a 3-2 victory over Prospect.

Pudsey Juniors under-11s performed much better than their league position suggested but still went down 6-3 to Albion Sports in the Garforth League.

Marcus Harper hit a stunning first-half hat-trick for Sports, other goals coming from Ryan Watling (2) and Jas Singh.
