Scholemoor Lions under-11s have notched their first ever win – and they did it in style, defeating Silsden 11-0 in the Keybury Junior League.

Koben Brooke and Imahl Williamson both netted hat-tricks, Jake Speed and Phoang ‘Zidane’ Hoang got two apiece and Aneeq Butt completed the scoring in a fine team performance.

Albion Sports’ under-seven captain Luke Jeffreys scored eight in their 13-2 victory at Sutton Rogues, Yacoob Jibrael (3) and Yousuf Ali (2) being the only other scorers, while Yousuf Hussain made an impressive debut in goal.

Baildon Dynamos faced their toughest test of the season so far, their 5-1 victory over Bradford Park Avenue Geckos not reflecting how hard the match was.

Goals came from Ben Cockcroft (2), Alfie Turner, Max Paterson and man-of-the-match Connor Holmes, Hamish McCallum, Harvey Menzies and Lyndon Bateson also shining.

Dudley Hill Rangers won 8-3 at Guiseley Orange, with Jack Moffatt and man-of-the-match Riley Nelson notching hat-tricks and midfielder Adam Morris adding a brace.

Albion Sports under-eights bounced back with a hard-fought 6-5 success at Long Lee.

Goal-machine Sohail Mahmood scored five to take his seasonal tally to 23 from just five games, with Casey Breaks scoring the other with an exquisite lob. Raushan Sandhu and Kieran McGinley also impressed for Albion.

Westwood Jets under-tens hammered Guiseley Whites 18-1, Lewis Dunn (5), Jack Clarkson (3), Andy Hewitson (3) Liam Wilkinson (3) and Jacob Slator (3) also cashing in.

Dudley Hill Rangers under-nines remain top of the Red Division after winning 4-1 at Burley, but Rajan Sandhu conceded his first goal – from the spot. Spencer Dunk (2) and Dominic Howard (2) were on target.

Man-of-the-match Charlie Menzies bagged a hat-trick for Baildon Dynamos under-tens in their 9-1 triumph at Horsforth Stallions but Louis Anderson also starred with five assists.

Other goals came from Harvey Weston-Beyer (2), Ben Stevens, Louis Turner, Courbon Carr and a first goal for Denon Sokee. Bradford Park Avenue Dragons were held to a 1-1 draw at Silsden in the Yellow Division.

Both keepers made great saves before Silsden took the lead in the 17th minute, but other chances were foiled by Abdur-Rahmaan Ashruff, Michael Noble and Olivia Moorehouse.

Showing improved teamwork in the second half, Avenue equalised after a great punt by in-form keeper Spencer Williamson, Kieran Heptinstall and Kian Stubley combining for the latter to equalise. Both teams then had chances to win it.

Avenue Lizards are back on top of the under-12 league after a 3-1 win at leaders Horsforth Broncos.

The Lizards trailed at half-time to a fourth-minute thunderbolt but it only took the visitors 30 seconds to level in the second half with a Lewis Melvin net-busting volley.

Dominic Corps nudged Avenue in front with a neat finish before former Horsforth player Cameron Brewster settled the match with a 25-yard free-kick into the top corner.

Wyke Wanderers under-nines tamed rivals Wibsey Lions 7-0 in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League.

Jacob Smith led the way with a hat-trick, Jack Leach, Reece Clay (2) and Reuben Davis getting the rest but stand-in keeper Harry Mc-Gurk ensured a clean sheet by pulling off a great save when facing a one-on-one. Wyke also missed a penalty.

Wanderers’ B team followed up with a 3-1 victory, Sam Kershaw netting, as did Loui Cook after following in his own corner to score in a goalmouth melee.

A fired-up Wibsey netted at the start of the second half but Wyke responded and Logan Jean-Jacques made it 3-1 in the battle of new kits from the Co-operative Membership Community Fund.

Wanderers under-11s recovered from 2-0 down to defeat Hartshead 3-2 in Division 5A with efforts from man of the match Charlie Smith, Josh Grant and Noel Jones, while Wyke’s under-12s won their derby 4-2 against Westwood Jets.

Wyke dominated the first half to take a 2-0 interval lead with goals from man-of-the-match McKenzie Borek and Ben King.

Westwood battled back into the game with goals from the penalty spot and a corner and looked to have the momentum.

However, Wyke finished off with Attah Rehman heading in from a corner and Patrick McGrath hitting a 25-yard rocket.

Avenue under-15s tasted defeat for the first time this season in a 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield RCD Junior League side Queensbury Celtic A in the Bradford & District FA Junior Cup.

In a lacklustre first-half performance, Avenue, who were too often second to the ball, allowed Celtic to score wtih an unopposed header from a corner and they went 2-0 down when Celtic scored from a tight angle.

Just before half-time, Avenue got back into the match when a through pass from Ibby Wazir allowed Kenny Tafireyi to wriggle free of the Celtic defence to slot home.

Avenue had the better of the second half but clear-cut chances were few and far between for both sides, with Avenue’s man of the match Joe Hamilton having his best game yet in defence.

Tafireyi hit the crossbar in the closing minutes but Avenue could not find an equaliser.

Thornton United under-13s played their best game of the season so far but still lost 4-3 on penalties against Pannal Ash in the Leeds & District FA Millennium Trophy.

The game ended 4-4 at full-time and 5-5 after extra time, but it wasn’t to be for Thornton, whose goals in a very entertaining game came Daniel Dockray (2), Uwais Nawas (2) and Rhys Delaney.

Cameron Sutcliffe was United’s man of the match for the second game running with some fine saves.

Avenue’s under-14 A team triumphed 9-2 at Bingley B in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League.

On target for Avenue were man-of-the-match Ollie Raistrick (3), Mohammed Saqib (2), Billy Enoch (2), James Watmough with a seasonal debut goal, and there was also an own goal from an Enoch cross.

Prospect Juniors returned to winning ways by running out comfortable 4-2 winners against Eldwick in Division 15 D.

Goals came from from Jordon Farrell, man of the match Lewis Searle, captain Joel Friis and a fine solo strike by debutant Alex Jennings.
