West Yorkshire-based telecoms company Comms-Provider is teeing up for its inaugural charity golf event at Bingley St Ives.
The four-ball 18-team tournament takes place on Wednesday, September 4 (12pm shotgun start), with proceeds in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Prizes already pledged include a £15,000 contribution towards the cost of a new car, golfing breaks in Portugal and the UK, golf club sets and clothing, and some of the latest telecoms equipment.
CommsProvider chairman Mike Bower said: “We are increasingly ‘putting something back’ and have chosen the Yorkshire Air Ambulance because of the wonderful life-saving service it continues to provide county-wide.”
Nicky Massen, West & South Yorkshire regional fundraising manager for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, added: “As an independent charity, we rely solely on indivuduals, groups and organisations such as CommsProvider to help us raise the £9,990 we need each and every day.”
