AVENUE winger Jason St Juste will miss three key games this month following his latest call up for St Kitts & Nevis.

With every point precious as they look to stay clear of the relegation places, Bradford boss Martin Drury will have to plot survival without one of their big players for the next week.

St Juste jets out on Wednesday, along with fellow National League players Zephaniah Thomas of Boston United and Tranmere Rovers’ former FC Halifax Town man Lois Maynard.

The international squad has two 2017 Caribbean Cup qualifying games to play in their group with Aruba and Antigua & Barbuda. If St Kitts & Nevis progress, they will have further games in May, October and November.

St Juste played in two friendly matches against Andorra and Estonia and has a total of five caps for his country. The Sugar Boyz played a young locally-based side in their last friendly, a 3-0 home win against Bermuda.

The St Kitts & Nevis Football Association secretary general Stanley Jacobs said: “We started last year with two games in Europe where we were able to see the European-based players.

“Then coming home, the focus was on the local players and the coach would have gotten the opportunity to see a number of the local players and I believe they made a good account of themselves.”

Head coach Jacques Passy will want his more experienced European players available for the upcoming group games.

The 30-year-old St Juste, who scored in Avenue’s last National League North win, certainly fits into that category.

He will miss three important games against teams chasing promotion.

St Juste will be unavailable for Avenue’s clash with Chorley at Horsfall on Wednesday, next Saturday’s trip to AFC Fylde and the Easter Monday home derby with Harrogate Town.
