BRADFORD Park Avenue face a tricky away replay tonight as they look to reach the last 16 in the FA Trophy.

Martin Drury takes his side to Nantwich Town’s Weaver Stadium after being held to a 1-1 draw at home by the Cheshire side last midweek.

The Dabbers actually took the lead at the Horsfall Stadium, Josh Hancock netting just before the hour mark, but Michael Potts hit a late leveller to force the replay.

Both Evo-Stik Premier Division Nantwich and their National League North visitors will be going into tonight’s clash – which must be resolved on the night – on the back of a defeat after losing in their respective leagues on Saturday.

Avenue went down 3-1 away at rock bottom AFC Telford United in what was a third consecutive league defeat.

The Dabbers were beaten 2-1 at home by their division’s leaders Blyth Spartans. Nantwich remain in the play-off places but they haven’t won in the league since Boxing Day.

The reward for tonight’s winners is a home tie in the third round against the Dabbers’ league counterparts Stourbridge. The winners of that tie will be in the quarter-finals, just two games from the Wembley final.

There is more cup action tonight with Thackley hosting nearest neighbours Eccleshill United in a Toolstation Northern Counties East League Cup third round tie.

The Premier Division Dennyboys should be hot favourites against the Eagles from Division One but the derby factor could be a leveller.

In the NCE Premier, basement boys Liversedge are hoping to play their first home game since the last day of October.

Third placed Handsworth Parramore are the scheduled visitors and they will be looking for the win that would take them to the summit.

Albion Sports head to Rainworth MW. Kulwinder Sandhu’s men will be looking for a positive result after suffering a 1-0 defeat at fourth-placed Cleethorpes Town at the weekend.
