Bradford Park Avenue 0 Salford City 1 (aet)
Bradford Park Avenue missed out on a home tie with National League club Southport as they lost their FA Cup third qualifying round replay with Salford City in extra-time tonight.
It was a bright start for Avenue as they forced a few early free-kicks and corners but Billy Priestley heading over was the closest they came to opening the scoring.
Just after the half hour Craig King found space in the area but snatched at his shot and sent it over the target.
Salford also had a few chances in what was a relatively quiet first half and the game never really kicked into gear after the break. The visitors snatched the all important goal four minutes into the first period of extra-time.
Richie Allen slotted past Avenue keeper Jon Stewart and although the home side had chances, Salford saw the game out.
