BRADFORD Park Avenue and Kidderminster Harriers are all set for a fourth clash in just over a year as the midlands club come to Horsfall Stadium for an FA Trophy first-round tie tomorrow.

The sides met at the same stage in last season's competition, with Conference North outfit Avenue knocking out their higher-ranked visitors 2-1. The Harriers were second in the Conference Premier at the time.

Kidderminster are not doing as well this term – they currently sit tenth – but Avenue boss John Deacey knows it will be another huge test for him and his players.

"We will be massive underdogs but that means we have nothing to lose and can go out and enjoy the game," he said.

"Our players always enjoy their football but, after three wins on the trot, they are really looking forward to getting out there."

Last season's Trophy meeting was one of three games between the clubs after they had also been drawn against each other in the FA Cup the previous month.

The initial clash was a 1-1 draw, while Harriers won the replay 2-1 after extra time, so the head-to-head record is deadlocked.

Deacey said: "Kidderminster again! It's a tough one against a big club in the non-League world but a great club. We formed a good friendship with them and their manager Gary Whild.

"The three games against them were all close and I hope this one will be because we are in a bit of form, so we can't complain. But it will be a tough encounter because they are a decent, well-organised side.

"We will have to be on top of our game to get anything – we know that – but it's cup football, so you never know. We will show them respect and, after last year, I would hope they respect us.

"Gary is a nice bloke and a very good manager. He will have done his homework on us and I just hope he saw us in one of the earlier games when we weren't so good. If that's the case, maybe they'll underestimate us."

Deacey has recent signing Fernando Moke, who made his debut in the 2-0 derby win at Harrogate Town last Saturday, out cup-tied but Dan Clayton returns from injury to fill the space in the squad.
