Props might not be thin in stature but they can be thin on the ground – but not at Bradford & Bingley.
Their director of rugby Martin Whitcombe says: “We have five very good props so we can rotate them every week and give one a rest.”
On Saturday, the Bees give starts to Roger Raper and Eddie Peglau at home to Waterloo in SSE National League Three North, with Jason Moss on the bench.
Phil Greaves is at fly half with Steve Brimacombe returning in the centre.
Bradford & Bingley won 53-7 at Beverley last weekend, and Whitcombe said: “We scored 50 points away from home and picked up five league points but we could have done better, and that shows how far we have come as a team that we can be critical like that.”
The Bees second team, who entertain Wharfedale Foresters, start at 2.30pm, as do the third team who host Ossett Seconds.
