After defeats in the last three games of Nik Corrigan’s tenure, Bradford & Bingley have won five out of six under the stewardship of Martin Whitcombe.
The Bees, who have risen to fourth in National League Three North, are at home to Stockport on Saturday, and club secretary Nick Patterson said: “Martin tries to keep things simple.
“We aren’t doing anything different in training to what we did before Martin arrived but he tells the players to make their tackles and pass to a player in their shirt. But he has also made the players believe in themselves more.”
The Bees have fly half Phil Greaves and centre Steve Brimacombe back but are missing lock Richard Hughes and James Endersby.
Bradford & Bingley (home to Stockport): B Greaves; J Morton, S Brimacombe, S Dixon, G Stead; P Greaves, R Scull; E Peglau, J Whitfield, R Wederall, M Mitchell, A Shields, J Holland, G Ford, T Cokell. Replacements: R Raper, A Ellison, J Tyson.
