Bradford & Bingley are hoping that the return of back-rowers Guy Ford and Tom Cokell will coincide with a change in their fortunes at Middlesbrough on Saturday.
Both missed last weekend’s 50-15 home drubbing by Penrith, which followed two Bees victories in National League Three North.
“We didn’t see that one coming,” confessed Bradford & Bingley’s secretary Nick Patterson, “as we always felt that if we conceded a few we could score more.
“But Guy, who suffered a dislocation, and Cokell, who compressed a vertebra in his neck, should give us more go-forward.
"We are also giving a start to Anthony McNally at hooker.
“He went to Otley and Leeds Carnegie and came back to us last year, having played for us before since he was a seven-year-old. Anthony missed all last season because of an operation.”
Bradford & Bingley (at Middlesbrough): B Greaves; A Sutcliffe, G Stead, J Endersby, T Gough; R Scull, T Gemmell; J Moss, A McNally, R Wederall, R Hughes, B Mitchell, A Shields, G Ford, T Cokell. Replacements: J Morton, S Hobbs. R Raper.
