Christian Georgiou, who is on loan at Wharfedale, has been called up by Leeds Carnegie tomorrow night to face Doncaster Knights at Headingley (8.00).
Originally named on the bench, he replaces centre Josh Griffin, who has failed a late fitness test during the final training session.
Winger David Doherty has done likewise, Jamel Chisholm taking his place for The Championship derby.
These are among seven changes made by Carnegie’s head coach Diccon Edwards, other inclusions being former Greens scrum half James Doherty, ex-Otley flanker Richard Beck and former Cleckheaton No 8 Ryan Burrows.
Fellow returnees are hooker Joe Graham and second row Mike Myerscough.
The match is the first clash in the newly-created Yorkshire Regiment Trophy, which is also being contested by Rotherham.
Former Otley player Joe Barker is on the bench, alongside Rob Baldwin, while winger Curtis Wilson starts.
