Bridlington 26, Bradford Salem 3
A depleted Bradford Salem side put in a heroic performance but could not prevent a loss which virtually seals their relegation.
The visitors had 14 players unavailable and, with four fly halves missing, Dave Howcroft, normally a scrum half, was thrust into the stand-off position.
However, after 30 minutes with his side 12-0 down, Howcoft had to leave the field with an ankle injury, centre Kris Whata taking over his role.
Despite losing 19-0 at the break, Salem came out fighting in the second half, with forwards Dave Hutton, Damien Pearson and skipper Simon Davies putting in Herculean displays.
Stand-in kicker Jonny Luxton landed a penalty to reduce the arrears to 19-3 but the Heaton side were unable to get over for the try they deserved.
