Wharfedale will be without Talite Vaioleti for Saturday's National League One match at home to Stourbridge.

The No 8 is due to fly out then to join the Tongan international side in Chile and will miss three matches for the Dalesmen.

However, in preparation for South America, he will play for Wharfedale Foresters tomorrow night at home to Leeds University (7.30).

Mean-while, Vaioleti – nicknamed V – and Andy Hodgson have been named in the Barbarians side to face the Combined Services at Aldershot on Tuesday, November 9.

Hodgson should have played for the Baa-Baas last season in the Mobbs Memorial match, but missed out when he sustained a rib injury very late in a match – ironically at Stourbridge.

Wharfedale’s side to play Stourbridge includes captain Rob Baldwin, back after being unavailable last week, while Chris Steel starts at prop, and Ian Larkin retains the hooker’s shirt against stiff competition from Ben Sowery, who appears in the squad for the first time.

David Hughes returns after injury, although Richard Rhodes needs further recovery time.
