Former British Lion John Bentley has joined the Rugby Football Union’s Injured Players’ Foundation XV.
The Cleckheaton stalwart, who has represented England at both codes, has now become an ambassador for the Foundation and will promote their help for players in England who suffer injuries which cause permanent and severe disability.
Other ambassadors in the 15 include former England captain Bill Beaumont and fellow internationals Olly Barkley, Rob Andrew, Martin Bayfield, Brian Moore, Jeff Probyn, Will Greenwood and Maggie Alphonsi.
