Baildon, now safe from relegation in Yorkshire Division Three, have lost three more players to injury.

They will be without Tom Craven (ankle), Paul Dobson (broken nose) and Lee Brown (facial stitches) for the home match against already-relegated Thornensians on Saturday.

However, there is more at stake than the mere two league points.

Thornensians have only won three league matches so far this season but one of them was against Baildon 27-5.

Baildon therefore have to win by 22 points to retain the Brian Hawkins Memorial Trophy, named after a prominent member of both clubs.

Bradford Salem are also at home to a demoted club - Redcar in Yorkshire Division One.

The Heaton outfit, still chasing third place, are without prop Charlie Birrell and will start with Dave Luxton, Gerry Boyd filling in on the bench in the absence of John Bradbury.

Keighley are missing flanker and skipper Rob Ellis (shoulder injury) and lock Rob Clarke (recurrence of foot injury) for their home match against Malton & Norton.

Also, winger Nigel Curr is unavailable, so Danny Lester fills in for him, Chris Wright coming into the second row for Clarke and Dave Pullen reverting to the back row for Ellis, Will Armitage taking over at hooker.
