Baildon have revealed that head coach Dave Duxbury will leave the club at the end of the season to become director of rugby at West Park Leeds.

Andy Whitley, Baildon's chairman of rugby, said; "In the three years that Dave has been at Baildon RUFC, the club has enjoyed an unprecedented run of success which has brought the RFU National Junior Vase and Yorkshire Silver Trophy to Jenny Lane.

"After another fantastic season, Dave has guided Baildon to within reach of promotion from SSE Yorkshire Division Three for the first time in the club's history and helped secure another RFU Junior Vase final at Twickenham this May.

"While we are disappointed to see him leave, the club fully understands his decision to join West Park and wishes him all the best in his new role.

"The club also wishes Dave the best of luck - with the exception of the two occasions when Baildon and West Park will meet each other next year should we gain promotion to SSE Yorkshire Division Two!"

Whitley added: "The club are currently going through the process of finding a replacement for Dave and hope to appoint a successor in the very near future."

Baildon continue their push to claim second place in Yorkshire Three on Saturday with a derby at Burley.
