Wibsey have undergone a sea change in their fortunes.
Home wins over Rossington Hornets (15-5) and Garforth (20-5) in SSE Yorkshire Division Five were preceded by a 38-17 victory at Adwick le Street, giving the High Street club a third successive league win for the first time in a decade.
"It was a bit like teaching schoolboys how to play rugby when I first came here," said Wibsey's coach Dave Grayson, who arrived in 2010.
"But now everyone knows what they are doing. Steve Brooke has worked his magic off the field and I like to think I have contributed on it, and now the lads are full of confidence.
"We finished seventh last season and would like to better that. We are at Rotherham Clifton on Saturday. They are fourth and we would like to spoil their party too."
