Anthony Lawton opens the scoring for Bradford Dudley Hill
Bradford Dudley Hill 52, Askam 12
Neil Wall grabbed a hat-trick as Dudley Hill sailed into the second round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
The match was effectively over at half-time, with Jason Lee’s men 32-0 up and in total control.
Anthony Lawton opened the scoring and Mick Hill soon went over for a second before Sam Broadley and Kitson applied further scores.
Wall then bagged a double to conclude a near- faultless first half for the hosts.
Ten minutes into the second half, Wall wrapped up his treble before the Cumbrians began to enjoy a brief spell of sustained pressure.
But Adam Morris and Martin Southwell scored for Hill, with Karin Norma and Tom Hopkins replying for Askam – efforts which were scant consolation for the Cumbrian side.
