Norman Clark has been honoured for his 50 years’ service to the Bradford Rugby League Referees Society.
The former professional ref was presented with a special award by RLRS president David Ratcliffe at the organisation’s latest meeting Norman officiated at professional and amateur level, and finally gave up at the age of 72. He acted as touch judge in professional cup semi-finals and was respected throughout the game.
He still attends referees meetings and is vice president of the Bradford RLRS and life vice president of the Bradford Amateur Rugby League – 35 years on the committee.
