RESPECTED rugby league author Geoff Lee will be signing copies of his latest book 'Two Seasons' at WH Smith in Bradford this weekend.
Lee originally hails from St Helens and went to school with BBC commentator Ray French but has lived in West Yorkshire since 1976 and is now a resident in Keighley.
He has written a handful of novels about northern working-class life, often set against a rugby league background.
His books are laced with humour and many of his storylines are based on his own direct experiences plus those of relatives, friends and former workmates.
His new novel 'Two Seasons' is set during 2002 and 2003. Although much of the content is acted out in Lancashire, the plot stretches out to Drax Power Station in North Yorkshire, Devon, Greece, Portugal and Sweden.
Lee will be at WH Smith in the Kirkgate Centre on Saturday from 11am.
