In the Pennine League Premier Division, Queensbury will be looking to build on last week's excellent win at Halifax Irish when they visit St Joseph’s on Saturday.

In Division One West, joint leaders Wibsey Warriors and Clayton both have home advantage as they seek to claim top spot for themselves.

Wibsey welcome winless Illingworth in what should be a certain two points for them, and with full back Mike Derrick in great try-scoring form and Andrew Robinson also firing at half-back, it could be a long afternoon for the Halifax outfit.

Clayton take on Emley Moor and will look to inspirational forward John Parkinson to lead the pack. Centre Simon Giles will hope to add to the try he scored against Birkenshaw last time out.

Meanwhile, Birkenshaw entertain Keighley Albion with a chance to close in on the leading pack if they can secure victory.

Coach Jason Hirst was pleased to get off the mark last week and has winger Mick Appleyard and hooker Andy Kaye in sparkling form.
