Clayton have forwards Craig Pickthall and Phil Redgrave back in harness as they seek the double over neighbours Queensbury at Lidget Green in the Pennine League Premier Division on Saturday.

Hooker Redgrave has been sorely missed in his seven weeks' absence due to appendicitis, and the physical presence of Pickthall, who has recovered from an ankle injury, will further boost the pack.

Bury are having a lean time as they regroup after blooding a number of youngsters at the deep end but with Brett Marriott always a threat with the boot and ball in hand, plus the towering form of prop Angelo Ricco, a surprise result is possible.

Division One promotion-seeking Birkenshaw will be looking to improve on their plus and minus column when they journey to bottom outfit Dodworth, and while West Bowling A have fond memories of posting the double over Ackworth Jaguars last season, they will have to be on top form when they welcome them to Emsleys Rec, bearing in mind the visitors have lost only once this term.

Bowling include new signing Ross Simpson (Wibsey) and Simon Owen and Shaun Fallon (Wyke).

Odsal Sedbergh have the personnel, both off and on the field, to plot the demise of Division Three visitors Sharlston Rovers A, and Undercliffe Wildboars will fancy their chances of causing an upset at misfiring Lindley Swifts.

Division Four table-toppers Wibsey Warriors will open up a comprehensive five-point gap at the top if they complete a double at main rivals Littleborough.

The Warriors won 26-16 at Northside Road, and if they cut loose in customary style once more, third-placed Dudley Hill A, who entertain bottom club Brighouse Rangers A, will reap the reward to jump into second spot.
