Queensbury face a Pennine League probe following the abandonment of their Premier Division home game against Thornhill Trojans.

Bury were losing 18-12 in the 55th minute when fighting broke out, leading to the referee calling an early halt to the game.

Queensbury had established an early 12-0 lead following tries from Lewis Symonds and Ben Naylor, both converted by Steve Swann, and it was still all to play for before the unexpected early bath for both sides.

Wibsey Warriors were in the wars at Hunslet Old boys, eventually going down 34-20.

Tries from Chris Vogel and Kyle Carter, plus two additions from Simon Sewell, gave them momentum before losing three key players injured.

Further efforts from Vogel and Ryan Smith saw them just behind 22-20 with ten minutes to go but when prop Mark Darragh also left the fray injured, their hopes were dashed.

Birkenshaw posted a 30-14 home win against Brighouse Rangers in the Division One derby.

Beniot Rogers, Gavin Mezals (2) and Ross Grattan scored tries, while a cracking solo from man of the match Sean Godfrey was the high point. Matty Gowland added five conversions.

In Division Three, Odsal Sedbergh recovered from being 14-0 down inside ten minutes to win 34-20 at Wortley Dragons with touchdowns from Robert Priestley(2), Alastair James(2), Lee Birkett, Jonny Ward and Joshua Briggs.

Undercliffe travelled to unbeaten Division Four Thornhill A with only 15 players, and paid the price in a 24-18 defeat.

Willy Woodhead, Matt Garbutt and free-scoring full back Aidan Scully (2) reached the whitewash.

West Bowling A lost 30-6 at Wakefield City in Division Six. Bowling's try-scorer was centre Phil Munro, converted by Nathaniel Light.
