The Cougars are urging supporters to back them in huge numbers next season following the club’s promotion back to the Championship.

Jason Demetriou enjoyed a highly impressive debut campaign as player-coach at Cougar Park, guiding his men to a comprehensive victory over Workington in the Championship One play-off final.

Keighley have since announced the return of half-back Danny Jones from Halifax and more new signings look set to follow.

The club are calling for fans to take advantage of an offer which could see season tickets priced as low as £60 next term.

Should the Cougars sell up to 399 adult season tickets, they will be priced at £120, while up to 599 season-ticket sales will see prices reduced to £100.

Selling up to 799 would see the price lowered further to £80 and up to 999 will see the cost drop to just £60. Supporters have until November 30 to take advantage of the offer.

Commercial manager Rob Weir said: “I would like people to get them now rather than waiting for the numbers to go up as they will save money anyway.

“This is great way to support the club – not only financially but as a fanbase for next season because the bigger the crowds, the bigger the atmosphere we will have at Cougar Park.

“We aren’t going into the Championship to enjoy the ride or come back down. We are going there to show what a good, strong club we now have at Cougar Park and we will be there next season competing for everything we can.”

The return of Jones after just one season at Halifax is a major boost to Demetriou’s men.

The half-back said: “I’m glad to be home,” while Demetriou added: “It’s fantastic to have Danny back playing at the Park and I’m really excited to see him performing on the pitch with the rest of the players next season.”
