Keighley Cougar Cubs lead the way in the latest Bradford and Keighley Service Area under-18 squad.

The group, which will travel to today’s regional carnival at West Park Leeds RUFC, contains 13 representatives from the Cubs, with five drawn from Bradford Dudley Hill and one each from West Bowling and Queensbury.

It represents the cream of the local talent not signed up by professional clubs and gives young players the chance to represent Yorks-hire and ultimately the Great Britain Community Lions.

The side is coached by community staff members from both Keighley Cougars (Dean Muir and Tom Hall) and Bradford Bulls (Adam Payne) and will be captained by Dudley Hill’s Kyle Hunt.

They will play games against Wakefield, North Yorkshire and Calderdale at the regional carnival.
