COUGARS forward Brad Nicholson has been handed a one-match ban after being sent off in the 30-30 draw at Workington – but three of his team-mates have avoided suspension.
At last night's disciplinary hearing, Nicholson, who was initially charged with Grade C punching, had his charge reduced to a Grade B and has been banned for one game, meaning he will only miss Keighley's opening Super Eights trip to Doncaster a week on Sunday.
Brendon Rawlins (Grade A striking) and Davey Dixon (Grade A high tackle) were both found guilty by the panel but both avoided bans.
Neil Cherryholme submitted an early guilty plea to his charge of Grade A foul language towards a match official and has also managed to avoid a suspension.
