Cougars’ new home kit, designed by chairman Gary Fawcett and director Neil Cullen, was launched yesterday.
The 2013 strip sees the return of the traditional chevron.
Fawcett said: “We’ve tried to reflect a bit of our heritage with the chevron. The supporters asked for that to come back.
“Every part of the shirt is sponsored, which is pleasing.
“We’ve already had our first order and that was from a lady in South Wales for a baby which has not yet been born!”
Fawcett first tried his hand at kit design two years ago with Cougars’ red and black away kit.
He said: “Me and Neil are very ‘hands on’ and we’re really pleased with the design.”
Cougars, whose main shirt sponsor will be A1 Stairlifts, will announce details on their away top in the new year.
Meanwhile, Fawcett admits season ticket sales have been slower than hoped for and urged fans to buy them sooner rather than later if possible.
The club sold around 370 last season but the chairman said only about 70 had been purchased so far.
