SILSDEN are still firmly rooted to the foot of the North West Counties Premier Division table as they travel to mid-table Abbey Hey.

But if they are to ease their relegation woes they will need to improve on their away record which shows just one win all season.

When the sides met at the Angel Telecom Stadium at the end of February the spoils were shared in a 2-2 draw, Will Storrie and Joe Mitchell – from the penalty spot – were Silsden’s scorers.

The Cobbydalers are five points from safety after their 1-1 home draw with West Didsbury & Chorlton on Tuesday.

Their hopes of survival will be determined by a run of five home games which starts on Tuesday when they host AFC Blackpool who climbed out of the bottom three with a 1-0 win over Nelson in midweek.
