TWO local sides are involved in key games in the lower reaches of the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division tomorrow night.
THACKLEY dropped down to 17th following Saturday’s home defeat to new boys Cleethorpes Town. They head to Armthorpe Welfare, who are immediately below them in the table – five points worse off but with two games in hand.
After pulling away from danger a little at the weekend, LIVERSEDGE could be dragged back into trouble if they don’t pick up a maximum tonight at home to second-from-bottom Glasshoughton Welfare, who are level on points with Armthorpe.
Sedge have leapt up to 14th thanks to a 2-1 win at Handsworth Parramore.
GUISELEY face cup action in a different competition tomorrow after exiting the FA Cup at Grimsby Town last Saturday. The Lions face a trip to Selby Town in the second round of the West Riding County Cup.
There is also a derby tie in the same competition as Silsden host Brighouse Town at the Angel Telecom Stadium.
