SALTS picked up their biggest Premier Division win of the season as they thrashed Honley 9-2 in the West Riding County Amateur League.

Nathan Hartley and Delroy White grabbed two goals apiece to complement further strikes from Matt Bailey, Matt Hall, Luke Rhodes, Ryan Whitfield and Sam Waterhouse.

Dylan Brett and James Clapham scored in the first half for Huddersfield side Honley.

Salts' victory kept them level on points with leaders Huddersfield YMCA, who accounted for local rivals Golcar United 2-0 with first-half strikes by Glynne Beale and Carl Aitkin.

Lee Smith, with a brace, added to strikes from Marcus Harper, Mohammed Ikram and Trevor Ikram to give Horton a 5-1 success at Britannia Sports.

Thornton triumphed 7-1 at home to Westbrook YMCA, with a Ryan Stubbs treble backed up by Danny Walker, Connor Mullaney, Jason Bland and an own goal.

Hunsworth, with two goals from Lewis Heeley, led 2-1 at half-time away to Golcar Reserves before falling away to lose 4-2.

Route One were pushed all the way by visitors Churwell Lions before running out 3-1 victors.

Only one league game was played in Division One, where Wibsey beat Steeton Reserves 2-0 with a second-half brace from Daniel O'Donnell.

Bradford FC moved level with second-placed TVR United after goals from Faisal Ali, Mark Wilcox and Michael Dougan gave them a 3-0 win at DRAM Community Reserves.

Littletown Reserves edged out Thornton Reserves in a ten-goal thriller by 6-4.

A young Tyersal Reserves side were outclassed at Tingley Athletic, who had striker Charles Gecsei-Holt on top form with seven goals in a 12-4 victory.

Campion Reserves were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Stanningley Old Boys in the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup and then missed out as the Old Boys won 4-3 in the penalty shoot-out.

Gavin Armitage and George Colly had earlier been on target for Campion, with Bob Wisher and Mark Wilson replying for the visitors.
