MIDWEEK results saw Littletown and Salts, who were joint-top of the West Riding County Amateur League after last Saturday, ousted from the summit.

The two clubs slipped to second and third in the Premier Division after defending champions Huddersfield YMCA saw off Overthorpe 4-0.

Littletown were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Lower Hopton, while Salts also had to settle for a point from a 1-1 stalemate under the floodlights at Campion.

This was the last midweek action until the closing weeks of May next year, with Littletown against Salts perhaps the pick of tomorrow's fixtures as Saturday resumes as the main match day.

Steeton, who were without a midweek fixture, face a tough trip to Huddersfield YMCA, while Campion are at Lower Hopton.

Tyersal, who dented Division One leaders Thornton United's four-match unbeaten start on Wednesday with a 3-0 home victory, host Route One Rovers this weekend, with Thornton travelling to unbeaten West Horton.
