THE Taylor's Timber West Riding County Amateur League hope to be representing England next summer in the UEFA Regions Cup.
Their journey starts tomorrow when a team selected from Premier Division clubs face the Cheshire League in the first round of the FA Inter-League Cup at Knutsford FC.
Last season, the West Riding County Amateur League lost 3-1 to eventual winners the Isle of Man in the quarter-finals.
This representative fixture means there is a reduced programme of league fixtures but Salts finally return home tomorrow against Golcar United in the Premier Division, having played at Marley Stadium while work was undertaken on their £350,000 changing rooms at Salts Playing Fields.
Billy Clarke, top scorer last season for Bradford City, will officially open the facilities at noon.
Dudley Hill Rangers, who picked up their first points of the season in a 3-2 home win over Hunsworth in midweek, visit Lower Hopton, while pointless Hunsworth will host Littletown at East Bierley.
Wednesday's results – Premier Division: Campion 1, Salts 0; Dudley Hill Rangers 3, Hunsworth 2; Kirkburton 1, Huddersfield YMCA 4; Lepton Highlanders 2, Golcar United 1; Littletown 2, Lower Hopton 2; Ovenden WR 1, Halifax Irish 1. Division One: Overthorpe SC 2, Honley 3; Newsome 8, DRAM Community 2; Wakefield City 4, Thornes 0; West Horton 2, Wibsey 0; Westbrook YMCA 0, Ventus Yeadon Celtic 2.
