SALTS will be carrying the hopes of the West Riding County Amateur League into the last 16 of the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup.

They defeated local rivals Steeton 1-0 in the third round as Campion, Lower Hopton and Lepton Highlanders were all beaten.

Sam Waterhouse scored the goal to give Salts a home game against either Grassington or Whitkirk Wanderers, whose tie was postponed.

Omar Habeeb earned Campion a first-half advantage at Boroughbridge. But early second-half goals from Ryan Priestman and Mike Mallenger gave the home team the advantage, before Jake Foster scored to secure the West Yorkshire League side a 3-1 victory.
