HUNSWORTH, and Joel Farrar in particular, have quickly found their feet in the West Riding County Amateur League Premier Division.
Farrar scored all four goals as the newly-promoted side beat Halifax Irish 4-3, and there were also victories on Wednesday night for Campion – 2-0 at Steeton – and Salts, 4-2 at Tyersal.
Campion face Hunsworth on Saturday at East Bierley (2.30), while Salts, who should have been hosting Huddersfield YMCA, will now visit them instead as the fixture has been reversed.
Steeton will be without both Andy Holden and Mathew Kershaw against Bay Athletic as they are serving the second game of a three-match suspension after being sent off in last season’s West Riding County FA Cup final.
