The destination of the West Riding County Amateur League title could be decided on Saturday when top two Ovenden West Riding and Bay Athletic go head to head.

Second-placed Bay, the defending Premier Division champions, have home advantage and must avoid defeat to prevent Ovenden sealing the crown.

Ovenden are currently ten points clear having played two games more than their rivals, who have five matches still to play.

Third-placed Campion conclude their league season with two away games in quick succession as they visit Huddersfield YMCA on Saturday before meeting Storthes Hall on Monday.

Salts, who began their season with a 3-2 win over Steeton, ended it last night by completing the double with a 3-1 victory thanks to Kyle Berry’s hat-trick.

OTHER MIDWEEK RESULTS – Premier Division: Bay Athletic 4 (K Gayle 2, C Tuff, N James), Kirkburton 2 (D Ingham 2).

Halifax FA Challenge Cup final: Shelf Utd 0, Ovenden West Riding 4.

Huddersfield FA Challenge Cup final: Golcar Utd 2, Storthes Hall 1.
